Coarse fishing is available at the lakes on the site and is controlled by
Snowland Angling & Conservation Group.. There are currently two pools available
with a third in the process of being completed. The main lake has recently been
reopened after a period of some 15 years, there are 27 pegs and all have solid
platforms. Pegs 1 - 5 have parking close by and there is one peg totally
dedicated for wheelchair access, although all pegs on the roadside are suitable
for disabled access. The lakes contain Tench, Perch, Mirror Carp, Common Carp,
Rudd, Roach, Bream, Crucian Carp and a few Brown Trout.
The lake is available for organisations to book for private or open matches,
through either the Angling Club or Snowland Reception
Day Tickets
Day tickets are available from the lake, Reception and Cafe at a cost of ?5.00
per Angler per day.
Restrictions
All Anglers over 12 years of age must be in possession of a valid Environment
Agency Rod Licence (these will be checked). Rod licenses are available from Post
Offices or the Internet.
The use of the following are strictly prohibited: Boilies, Braid, Cat meat,
Keepnets (except for competitions organised by the angling clubs)

The Future
The third lake will be ready for fishing in the Autumn of 2008. A shop and Club
House is due for completion by early 2008 and improvements throughout the site
will be continuing for the next few years
